KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
· Provide support to the maintenance of the following systems: Medium and Light Voltage, Fire Detection and Protection,Security Access Management, Station and Tunnel Management (Building Management System),tunnel ventilation, Pumping/De-watering and HVAC within the Maintenance Division.
· Ensure compliance with Occupational Health Safety Acts & its Regulations, all applicable legal requirements and Company policies.
· Assist in continuous improvement within the Department.
· Assist with non-compliance reporting process and NCR closure.
· Participate in maintenance inspections on all the above stated systems.
· Ensure update of maintenance procedure.
· Arrange meetings and take minutes.
JOB DESCRIPTION
· Assist with site inspections, report writing and other related maintenance activities on all the above stated systems.
· Enforce compliance to applicable codes and standards for these systems
· Comply with Company policies
· Conduct inspections, report deviations and ensure corrective measures are implemented
· Participate in in Maintenance Management Information System
· Render assistance in managing defect notifications and completion of remedial works
· Communicate and keep register of business correspondence
· Organize and attend monthly site inspections of the Gautrain system
· Inspect system to identify issues or non-conformity for resolution
· Arrange and conduct regular inspections and audits on subcontractors
· Give technical advice and feedback on any defects or upgrades
· Assist in renewal projects
· Abide to general housekeeping rules
· Undertake any other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
· Completed and passed all course works to obtain National Diploma Certificate in Electrical/Electronic Engineering/Civil Engineering
· Valid driver’s license
· Safety management knowledge
· Computer knowledge
· Fluent in English
