Please ensure you ARE a REGISTERED Master Installation Electrician before applying, this is not negotiable. The requirements are very specific, so please read carefully and ensure that you meet all the relevant criteria for the role. The salary is also not negotiable and paid according to ECA rates (available on the ECA Website) The position is one of taking a mentoring, training and supervisory role for the existing technical teams of artisans and also to have a hands on approach to providing technical service and quality workmanship to the customers, in accordance with HSE and SLA agreements. You must be a certified Master Electrician, with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in gas testing, working on hazardous sites and being responsible for team inspections on completed sites, in petro-chemical or gas facility/environment. You must have managed staff and also have been involved in project planning and day to day operational management functions You must be an energetic multi-tasker who is able to mentor and train more junior artisans and ensure a high level of work performance and quality on completed site. Good planning and organisational skills are essential A valid driver’s license, South African citizenship and a clear criminal and credit record is required and will be verified.
